Hi everyone, welcome to the Handmade For U website.

We are an Irish gift company, based in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

My name is Barbara Kirk and I started Handmade For U in 2006. As a mother of four daughters, having always enjoyed crafting with my children through their early years, I found as they grew older that it was time to do something for me. I decided to take a stall at Marlay Park Farmer's market selling some of my handmade plaques and giftware. Thankfully, the business grew from there, with people returning to buy and order more personalised plaques. Realising that my handmade creations were becoming increasingly popular, I opened the doors of Heart & Home in Enniskerry village in April 2010. 

The shop has been a wonderful platform to showcase my ever-growing range of products. With more & more demand, an extra pair of hands was needed - and I was so lucky to find just the right person in Kate Burke. Kate has brought so much to the business and has become an integral part of the Handmade For U team. 

Handmade For U has grown so much over the last few years, thanks to the wonderfully loyal customers who have returned time & again. 

Our team of two has now become three, with the addition of my daughter, Jody, who has brought her creativity and passion to Handmade For U.
